Holder of a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the Université de Montréal, but I have also gained valuable experience working as an occupational therapist through various internships (hospitals, nursing homes, private clinics) with adult, geriatric, and pediatric clients. I also completed my master’s internship in Belgium where I worked with adults who were dealing with mental health problems/substance abuse. At the start of my career, I put the knowledge I had acquired in university into practice when I worked with adults with ID/ASD at the Centre de réadaptation en déficience intellectuelle (CRDI) in Laval and adults with physical disabilities through the CLSC’s Home Support Program.
Fields of Practice:
I have always been interested in mental health, so I am currently working in the private sector with adults who are dealing with mental health problems. I am happy to help my clients reach their goals through interventions that help them engage in meaningful activities, adopt healthy lifestyle habits, and find a balanced and satisfying occupational schedule.
