Needless to say, our approaches differ according to the clientele (adult or child) and the nature of the problem to be treated either physically<\/a> or mentally<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, regardless of the service, before the first intervention, the person, the parent if it is a child, will receive a questionnaire to complete.<\/p>\n

Moreover, in all cases, the first session begins with a 60 to 90-minute interview in a closed office for evaluation purposes. In the case of a pediatric occupational therapy<\/a> intervention, the parent will also be present at the evaluation and during the interventions according to the age of the child.<\/p>\n

The rest of the intervention plan will then be developed according to the individual’s needs.<\/p>\n

However, in the context of treatments reimbursed by the CNESST or the SAAQ, we need your medical prescription to open your file and obtain their authorization to begin occupational therapy treatments (treatment paid by a third-party).[\/mk_toggle][mk_toggle style=”fancy” title=”What documents do I need to bring to the first appointment?”]You will need to bring your completed questionnaire to your first appointment. If applicable, you must also present an up-to-date list of medications you are taking.<\/p>\n
