As a graduate occupational therapist from the University of Montreal (M.Sc) with a major in Exercise Science (B.Sc-Concordia), my passion and desire is to help people reach and achieve their goals all while living to their greatest potential.
My work experience includes working at a CRDITED (adults) with severe intellectual disability and autism to help maintain their safety and quality of life in residential services. My mandate included control measures, adapted equipment, wheelchairs and home safety procedures. I also have experience as a pediatric OT at the CLSC with polyhandicap children (DI-TSA-DP) who require different technical aids and services in order to stay safe and live at home with their family.
FIELDS OF PRACTICE:
At Aptitude Ergo, my role is to help children achieve their goals to be independent in their daily activities and to accomplish age-appropriate tasks in both school and home setting.
