We are proud to highlight the participation of our occupational therapist, Luce Viens-Poirier, as a speaker at the Salon en Convergence vers le mieux-être, innovation 2026 conference, held at Expocité in Québec City, as part of a mandate carried out with Médicus.

During her presentation entitled “How to Support Neurodiversity in My Practice”, Luce had the opportunity to connect with numerous healthcare professionals, primarily occupational therapists working in CLSCs, hospital settings, and various other clinical environments.

Her presentation focused on:

  • the neuroaffirmative approach;
  • practical intervention strategies;
  • reflections aimed at fostering more inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming practices.

Through this experience, Luce shared her passion for a topic that is particularly meaningful to her and contributed to ongoing discussions surrounding the evolution of healthcare practices.
